I specialize in creating accurate and effective medical and biological illustrations, animations, and graphic design for the medical, scientific, and healthcare industries, and I strive to meet my clients' needs.

Certified Medical Illustrator | Founder & Creative Principal

At the heart of what I do is visual storytelling. It is what I am passionate about. How do you simplify something complex and confusing in a way that is both easy to understand and engaging? For over a decade, I have been working as a full-time medical and scientific illustrator. Within that time, I’ve worked in a variety of different industries, giving me a unique set of experiences that allowed me to grow and develop my skills. I worked as the Lead Medical Illustrator at a multi-hospital system in New York City, working with doctors, researchers, surgeons, and faculty across a range of specialties and positions, bringing their complex scientific and medical research and data to life in the most effective way possible. I created illustrations and designs for medical school courses, journal submissions, medical research posters, patient education material, infographics, and educational animations. I then went on to work as the Senior Medical Illustrator at an agency, creating medical illustrations for pharmaceutical sales training videos. I collaborated with writers, animators, and designers in each project stage. My role there also included creating storyboards for patient education videos and managing the medical illustration department. Through this time, I continued my medical illustration business, eventually focusing on my business full time, where I continue to create medical illustrations for clients across the healthcare industry and serve as a medical visual communication specialist, creating custom illustrations for medical education, patient education, litigation, and publications.

I can work in a variety of traditional and digital media. Whether you need a simple illustration for your patients or a complex illustration explaining a surgical technique for a journal publication, I am happy to provide my expertise and services to help you communicate your ideas.

My educational background and professional affiliations are a testament to my commitment to excellence. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Arts in Medical Illustration from the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I am committed to continuing my education, constantly developing my skills, and keeping up with the industry. I have been a proud member of the Association of Medical Illustrators since 2011 and a Board Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) since 2014. I’ve served as the Vice Chair of the Continuing Education Committee of the AMI since 2016. In 2023, I joined the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.

I currently reside in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
